    2-D Ultrasound

At 5 ½ inches long and about 5 ounces in weight, your baby is filling out and getting large enough that you might even be feeling those twists, rolls, kicks, and punches he or she is perfecting. Your baby is now mastering yawning and hiccupping.

You may be experiencing more energy, fetal movement (probably by the end of the month), achiness in the lower abdomen and along the sides (from stretching of the ligaments supporting the uterus), constipation, heartburn, backache, nasal congestion and occasional nosebleeds; ear stuffiness, sensitive gums, hearty appetite, and fewer mood swings, though you’ll likely still be weepy and irritable occasionally.
