Bio

Philip Shlossman, MD, serves as a managing partner of the Delaware Center of Maternal and Fetal Medicine.  He also is the Associate Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Co-Associate Director of the Residency program for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at in . 

Dr. Shlossman graduated from with his Medical Degree in 1984 and completed his OB/GYN residency at Christiana Care in 1988.  After completing fellowship training (1990) in maternal-fetal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA, he returned to Christiana Care (then called Medical Center of Delaware) to serve as Associate Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.  He has also served as Co-Medical Director of Special Deliveries, Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Coordinator of Perinatal Research in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Site Principle investigator of for NICHD-MFMUN.

Dr. Shlossman is board certified in both specialties of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is continuing as a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at .  He is a member of several state and local societies, organizations and hospital committees.
