Bio
Dr. Merriman graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 2001 and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. After completing fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, she came to the Delaware Center for Maternal and Fetal Medicine to practice. She is board specialized in obstetrics and gynecology and board eligible in maternal fetal medicine.
Dr. Merriman has served as a resident mentor and is significantly involved in both medical student and resident teaching. She is currently working on a hospital protocol for obstetrical deep venous thrombosis prevention and quality improvement protocols to facilitate our commitment to excellence in ultrasound. She also spends significant time caring for her 4 children including her recent addition of a set of identical twins and exercising when she finds time.
